Job summary

Velux Residential, Denmark, seeks a hands-on IT leader to own the strategy, delivery, and operation of the enterprise platforms behind our global support functions. You will report to the CIO and lead a portfolio of programmes, including budgets and key vendor relationships.

With SAP and Workday at the core, you will shape upgrades, reshape the support model, and drive an AI-enabled transformation. Global, matrixed leadership and a track record of delivering large-scale upgrades are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT leadership experience in global, multi-disciplinary organizations.
• Proven track record with enterprise SAP landscapes across Finance, Sales, and Operations/Supply Chain and S/4HANA.
• Experience with HR technology platforms, ideally Workday.
• A history of leading large upgrades and multi-year transformations in a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong vendor management with contracts with global system integrators and managed-service providers.
• Curiosity about AI and automation, with a practical view on applying them to improve work processes.
• Experience from manufacturing/building materials industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stabilise the core and deliver upgrades for enterprise platforms.
• Rethink the SAP and Workday support model and drive evolution.
• Prioritise with the business using a PMO-backed portfolio governance approach.
• Lead the AI shift and define AI-enabled ways of working for applications and the organization.
