Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Project Manager to set deployment standards and drive maturity across the project management function. You will own portfolio reporting, platform planning, and forecasting, coordinating with senior stakeholders. Travel is expected for selected initiatives and the role is aligned to SFIA Level 5.

The role requires strong financial acumen, experience with lifecycle roadmaps, and leadership of cross-functional project teams within a global technology environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience setting project management standards and improving delivery maturity in global technology organisations.
• Experience acting as functional lead for project managers, coaching and methods improvement.
• Able to step in as lead project manager for high-stakes initiatives.
• Hands-on financial management experience including CAPEX/OPEX profiling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with platform planning, lifecycle roadmaps, costing and resource management.
• Experience with Operational Planning and annual budgeting in large organisations.
• Experience with infrastructure platforms, data centres or large-scale technology services.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or ITIL are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain deployment project management standards, including planning, RAID, dependencies, decisions, financial tracking and governance.
• Own standard reporting for deployment projects and senior governance inputs.
• Provide functional leadership to project managers and coach on delivery discipline.
• Drive platform financial performance management including CAPEX/OPEX and forecasting.
• Lead 5-year costed platform lifecycle roadmap and annual budgeting.
• Own platform resource and workforce planning and cross-functional alignment.
