Job summary

Ambu’s Global Indirect Procurement & Capex team is seeking an Associate Category Manager to translate business requirements into sourcing strategies across indirect procurement. You will work with Global Category Managers on RFx processes, supplier management and market analyses.

You will gain exposure to international stakeholders and end-to-end sourcing activities, gradually taking ownership of defined projects while building experience in source-to-contract procedures at Ambu's headquarters

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience supporting sourcing initiatives and supplier management.
• Understanding source-to-contract processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven recommendations.
• Structured, proactive team player with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent English; familiarity with sourcing platforms (Keelvar, Coupa, Ariba, GEP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support translation of business requirements and market insights into sourcing strategies.
• Lead or contribute to RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) with supplier market analysis.
• Independently manage defined sourcing activities using established processes.
• Assist supplier negotiations, contract preparation and handovers.
• Analyze spend, suppliers and cost drivers to identify savings opportunities.
• Prepare sourcing analyses and recommendations for stakeholder decisions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional partners.
• Support continuous improvement and adoption of new procurement tools.
