Job summary

ABENA is seeking a Global HRIS Lead to build the digital HR foundation and implement a future global HCM platform. You will partner with the HR Director and senior leaders to design robust HR processes and data governance, balancing global standards with local needs.

You will lead the platform selection and serve as HR business lead during implementation, translating business requirements into scalable system-driven workflows and driving analytics for informed workforce decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing an aHCM/HRIS platform is a requirement.
• Strong HR processes knowledge and data structures with governance.
• Experience working across HR, IT and external vendors in an international context.
• Structured, pragmatic approach in an environment where things are not yet defined.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Build the foundation for digitalization within HR in ABENA

The purpose of your role as Global HRIS Lead is to build the digital HR foundation that supports ABENA's strategy of digitalizing, scaling, and globalizing HR. Over time, you will establish global standards for people data, reporting and core HR processes – giving the business better insights and a stronger basis for decision-making.

A key priority in your role will be to lead the selection of ABENA’s future global HCM platform and act as the HR business lead throughout the implementation. Working closely with the HR Director and senior leaders, you will design robust HR processes and data standards. Success in the role requires a pragmatic and hands‑on approach, balancing global standards with local business needs.

While a number of important building blocks are already in place, including global job architecture, this is not a finished framework. There is still a need to align processes, anchor governance, establish global standards, and design truly global processes. We are looking for someone who is motivated by creating a structure where not everything has been defined yet.

What we hope you bring

• Experience implementing aHCM/HRIS platform is a requirement
• Solid understanding of HR processes and employee data structures, combined with strong system and data discipline and knowledge of HR best practices, and governance
• Experience working across HR, IT and external vendors, building strong collaboration and delivering practical solutions in an international context
• A structured, pragmatic approach and comfort working in an environment where things are not yet defined
• Motivation to build, improve and challenge how HR works – not just maintain it
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
