Job summary

Ascendis Pharma in Hellerup, Denmark, is seeking a Specialist/Senior Specialist, HR Operations to drive operational excellence across HR processes and programs. You will lead cross-functional projects, standardize processes, and partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll and IT to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

You will guide the adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, manage multiple priorities, and report to the Director HR Operations Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HR Operations or related HR disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, lifecycle management, and compliance.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation and digital solutions, including AI tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate issues into practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support HR Operations projects across Europe, ensuring planning, execution, and implementation.
• Drive process improvements and standardization to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll, IT, and other functions on initiatives.
• Support and coordinate a wide range of HR operational activities.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve processes.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, process documentation, and governance.
• Analyze HR operational data and trends to support informed decisions.
• Support compliance activities related to employment practices and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on HR operations.
