Job summary

Saxo Bank in Copenhagen, Denmark seeks a highly experienced Head of Physical Security & Safety to lead and strengthen our global physical security framework. The role protects employees, facilities, assets, and operations across Saxo locations, shaping standards and culture across the bank.

You will drive risk-based security initiatives, crisis readiness, and ensure alignment with evolving threats, collaborating with IT Security, Risk, Compliance and office representatives worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within physical security, protective security or security operations.
• Strong understanding of threat assessment, risk management and incident response.
• Experience leading security programmes, projects or specialist teams.
• Ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.
• Calm, structured leadership under pressure; high integrity and discretion.
• Fluency in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

• Lead Saxo's physical security and safety programme across global locations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities affecting personnel, facilities and operations.
• Develop and implement security policies, standards and SOPs.
• Drive incident management, investigations and corrective actions.
• Strengthen emergency preparedness, crisis response and resilience capabilities.
• Oversee security technologies including access control, CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide strategic security advice to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage security service providers and external partners.
• Promote a security-aware culture through training and awareness programmes.
• Support major events, incidents and business continuity initiatives.
