Job summary
Satair in Copenhagen is recruiting three Export Control and KYC Specialists to bolster our Legal & Compliance team. You will screen and approve customers for export control and KYC compliance, perform due diligence on higher-risk clients, and collaborate with a global network to ensure adherence to US, EU, and national regulations.
You will contribute by developing processes, conducting training, and driving efficiency through IT-enabled compliance solutions, supporting sustainable aviation
Qualifications
- Degree in Legal/Compliance, Business Administration, or similar
- Experience in Compliance KYC screening of customers
- Knowledge of US, EU, and national export control laws, sanctions & embargoes
- Proficiency with standard compliance screening tools
- Familiarity with industrial logistics operations and customer support
- English language skills at negotiation level (fluent, both verbal and written)
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-structured with professional integrity
Responsibilities
- Screen and approve customers for Export Control and KYC compliance and risk evaluation
- Analyze and validate Customer End Use Statements
- Conduct enhanced due diligence for higher-risk clients based on geopolitical, sanctions, etc.
- Develop business processes and conduct awareness training to maintain high export control standards
- Analyze orders, deliveries and customer profiles to guide the business on best practice and optimization
