Job summary

NOV is seeking a Documentation Specialist to manage and control project documentation from receipt through final delivery. You will ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with contractual requirements while coordinating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years of document control experience in project environments.
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or capital projects.
• Hands-on with document management systems such as RigDoc, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Aconex.

Responsibilities

• Receive, register, distribute, and track project documentation through the lifecycle.
• Maintain document control systems, registers, revision control, and traceability.
• Coordinate documentation across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PM, Supply Chain, suppliers and customers.
• Process customer and supplier documentation, transmittals, and review comments accurately and on time.
• Monitor deliverables against project schedules and contractual milestones.
• Ensure documentation complies with requirements and customer specs.
• Maintain status reports and provide visibility of progress.
• Identify risks and support timely resolution of documentation issues.
• Administer docs using RigDoc, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Aconex and similar
