Job summary

UNDP Careers in Copenhagen is seeking a graphic design-oriented intern to support employer branding across internal and external communications assets. You will produce social media content, newsletters, posters, infographics, and videos using the Adobe Creative Suite.

The role includes assisting with social media advertising, data dashboards in Excel, and quarterly bulletins, with an emphasis on clear visuals and online onboarding support for the JPO Programme.

Qualifications

• Currently in the final year of a bachelor’s degree; orCurrently enrolled in a master’s degree; orHave graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a master’s degree or equivalent studies.
• Field of study: Graphic Design, Digital Media, Digital Arts, Advertising and Marketing Journalism or related field.
• Prior experience working in social media is an asset.
• IT skills: Very good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects are essential requirements. Basic knowledge of HTML is highly desirable and basic knowledge CSS will be a plus.
• Language skills: Fluency in English is required. Good working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design (90%): Create and apply UNDP’s branding guidelines to internal and external communications assets and knowledge products.
• Communication: Manage UNDP’s social media channels and advertise vacancies.
• Outreach and Data: Design quarterly bulletins and update JPO/ SDP databases in Excel.
• Other (10%): Conduct research and provide ad hoc support to the JPO Programme.
