Job summary

Arla Foods seeks a Procurement Category Manager for Filling equipment (Capex) to own the global Capex sourcing strategy for filling equipment. The role includes defining category direction, building supplier relationships, and ensuring competitive, compliant sourcing for dairy production equipment across multiple European sites.

You will lead strategic sourcing activities, coordinate with project managers, and manage tenders, negotiations and contracts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role from a global organization.
• Strong project management mindset and analytical capabilities to move from strategy to execution.
• Experience in capex negotiations, complex tender projects and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Capex category strategy for filling equipment across Europe.
• Manage strategic supplier relations and establish framework agreements to ensure competition.
• Lead tendering, supplier selection, negotiations and contract finalization in key capex projects.
• Engage with Project Manager to ensure compliant and competitive supplier selection.
• Travel approximately 20–30 days per year to supplier visits and site assessments.
