Job summary

Deloitte Denmark is seeking an experienced Manager to join Global Business Services. You will lead multi-functional finance transformation programmes, setting up shared services and governance across global engagements.

You will work with GenAI and intelligent automation, guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables that drive measurable business impact for clients.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in GBS, Shared Services and/or BPO with finance process knowledge.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Fluency in Danish is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify client issues and architect end-to-end finance process transformations (e.g., R2R, O2C, P2P).
• Drive business development by responding to RFPs and pitching strategic solutions with a strong commercial mindset.
• Evaluate and deploy GenAI and intelligent automation to elevate client digital maturity and process performance.
• Determine which techniques, delivery models, and emerging tech are best suited to serving each client's unique addressable needs.
• Develop recommendations for the client in the context of overall engagement.
• Lead day-to-day team activities and effectively overseeing the quality of deliverables.

Global Business Services (GBS) is an integral part of Deloitte’s Finance Transformation practice. The GBS team is dedicated to helping organizations transform their business operations, driving higher efficiency, effectiveness, and agility. By leveraging a comprehensive suite of services, the GBS practice supports clients in optimizing shared services, outsourcing, and global business service models to create value and enhance performance. We work in the full lifecycle of projects from strategy to design and implementation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manager to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team. The ideal candidate has experience in setting up shared services organizations and a deep understanding of multi-functional GBS operations. Experience with the interplay of technology and process design in this context is preferred. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic business transformation initiatives, building effective governance structures, implementing new capabilities globally and optimizing functional processes leveraging the latest technologies.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Identifying key client business issues and architecting end-to-end finance process transformations (e.g., R2R, O2C, P2P)
• Driving business development by responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and pitching strategic solutions with a strong commercial mindset
• Evaluating and deploying innovative technologies, including GenAI and intelligent automation, to elevate client digital maturity and process performance
• Determining which techniques, delivery models, and emerging tech are best suited to serving each client's unique addressable needs
• Developing recommendations for the client in the context of overall engagement
• Leading day-to-day team activities and effectively overseeing the quality of deliverables
• Managing diverse small and big teams

Qualifications

Ideally, you have:

• Around 6-9 years of relevant experience in the GBS, Shared Services and/or Business Process Outsourcing, as well as good understanding of finance processes
• 3+ years of Direct people management experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Fluency in Danish is a big plus

What you bring to the team:

• Experience with multiple GBS pillars including, but not limited to HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations, Legal
• Extensive project experience within the Shared Services, Outsourcing and/or Offshoring industry, or back-office functional optimization
• Experience with service delivery model strategy, design, implementation & optimization for multi-functional or single-function entities
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and oral and written communication skills; outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
