Job summary

Danske Bank is seeking a DevOps/Platform/Infrastructure engineer to join our FX Pricing team in Copenhagen. You will drive the migration of on‑prem infrastructure to AWS, while strengthening security and reliability across our trading systems.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, implement robust monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, and collaborate with developers, traders, and infrastructure specialists to modernise our technology stack.

Qualifications

• Production DevOps/Infrastructure engineer experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Java development skills for debugging and library upgrades.
• Proficient with CI/CD tooling, especially GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Skilled in monitoring/observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or InfluxDB.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, TLS certificates, and security practices.
• Linux proficiency with Bash or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration from on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for seamless deployments.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Manage infrastructure security including certificates, firewalls, and system hardening.
• Automate processes and integrate AI solutions where they add meaningful value.
• Maintain Kafka message bus systems ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Java application issues in production environments.
