Job summary

Saji in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our Indonesian restaurant full-time. You’ll work in a small, busy kitchen with an international team and local ingredients, delivering consistent dishes in a fast-paced setting.

We value organized, efficient cooks who stay calm under pressure, love Indonesian flavors, and are eager to learn. English is required, Danish a plus, and you should be available 5 days a week including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant kitchen experience in the same role.
• Organized, efficient, and able to keep calm when it’s busy.
• A strong team player who can also handle sections independently.
• Comfortable with prep and service in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious to learn new techniques and flavors.
• Available to work 5 days a week, including weekends.
• English is required (Danish is a plus).
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, ordering, and stock control.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing seasonal menu.
• Punctuality.
• Eagerness to master product knowledge.
