About Supplios

Manufacturers live or die by their supply base. Sourcing the wrong supplier, onboarding one slowly, failing to qualify one properly or losing track of a non-conformance can stop a production line and cost millions. Yet most manufacturers still run these relationships across email chains, spreadsheets and shared drives.

Supplios is a supplier collaboration platform for manufacturers in automotive and industrial sectors. We cover the full supplier relationship: sourcing, onboarding, qualification, day-to-day collaboration, compliance and supplier quality, all in a modern cloud based platform that is easy for manufacturers to implement and operate. It is built specifically for the way automotive and industrial manufacturers actually work.

We are headquartered in central Copenhagen and already serve customers globally in our vertical, including some of the most demanding names in automotive. We have grown to this point almost entirely on product strength, domain credibility and word of mouth.

The platform now covers more ground than the team that built it. We are hiring engineers to keep that pace sustainable, and to go deeper on the parts of the product our customers are pushing hardest.

The role

You will join a small engineering team and work across the whole stack: Python on the backend, TypeScript on the frontend and in the AI layers. There is no split between people who design and people who implement. You will take a problem from a customer conversation or a product decision through to something running in production for real manufacturers.

You will work directly with our co-founder and CEO, who is a hands‑on product builder himself. That means short conversations instead of tickets thrown over a wall, and it means your questions about why something should work a certain way get answered by the person who decided it.

The domain is genuinely complicated, and that is the interesting part. Supplier relationships in automotive involve deep hierarchies, long‑running approval processes, strict audit requirements and a lot of state that has to be exactly right. Modeling that well is most of the job.

Title and level flex with experience. We are open to strong mid‑level engineers and to senior engineers who want more scope than their current company gives them.

We work together from our office in central Copenhagen. This is primarily an in‑office role: at this stage, and on a codebase with this much implicit context, working through problems with the rest of the team in person is much faster than doing it in writing. Sensible flexibility when you need it is a given; full‑time remote is not what we are offering.

Our current stack:

What you will do

• Build features end to end, from data model and backend logic through to the TypeScript frontend our customers actually click on.
• Build end-to-end / front-to-back AI features (in-app AI assistants, background worker agents, email‑routing agents, customer-configurable agent framework components)
• Design and evolve the relational data model that sits under supplier relationships, approvals and quality records.
• Take vaguely defined customer problems and turn them into something specific enough to build, then build it.
• Work on integrations between Supplios and customer systems (ERP and adjacent tooling), where failures have visible consequences for a production line.
• Improve the parts of the codebase that need it, rather than routing around them.
• Review other people's code and have yours reviewed; we keep the loop tight and unbureaucratic.
• Help keep the platform healthy in production across our regions: errors, performance and the boring things that keep customers trusting us.
• Take part in product decisions. Engineers here are expected to have opinions about what we build, not just how.

What we are looking for

Essential

• Professional experience with Python. This is not negotiable; the backend is Python and you need to be effective in it.
• Solid TypeScript experience and genuine comfort working on the frontend.
• Experience building and running SaaS products, including the part after launch where real users depend on them.
• AI-forward development techniques. (This does not mean you no longer write code.)
• A track record of owning work end to end without waiting to be told what to do next.
• The temperament for a small, senior company: high ownership, low ceremony.
• You want to work primarily from an office in central Copenhagen, with a small team.

Nice to have

Genuinely a plus, not a requirement. Nobody has all of these.

• Experience with B2B enterprise SaaS, especially where customers are large and demanding and implementations are not self-serve. This is a significant plus.
• Experience with complex relational data modeling, and with large, long‑lived codebases that you did not write yourself. A big plus.
• Experience building AI-based products, using the latest frameworks/harnesses and infrastructure components (including RAG) is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with any of: domain-driven design, the actor model, finite state machines, CQRS, event-driven architecture. We use these ideas where they earn their place, and it helps if the vocabulary is already yours.
• Startup experience, particularly early stage. A significant plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, automotive or supply chain. Useful, but we can teach you the domain; we cannot teach you the craft, so do not rule yourself out on this.

Language

English is the only important language for this position; we work in English, and so do our customers. Danish language skills are not required.

• No layers between you and the decisions. You work directly with the co-founder and CEO, who runs product. There is no committee to navigate and nobody to translate your work for you.
• Hard problems that are not artificially hard. The complexity comes from the domain (hierarchies, state, audit trails, integrations that must not fail), not from organisational overhead.
• Real customers already, and real gaps. The product has paying customers in automotive and clear places where it needs to get better. Both halves of that are true, and both are why this is a good job.
