Jobgether on behalf of a partner seeks a Founding Engineer based in Denmark to lead development of a web application and blockchain-based infrastructure that accelerates scientific research and collaboration.

This hands-on role combines software development, technical decision-making, product thinking, and engineering leadership with autonomy to shape the roadmap and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable, testable, high-quality web or mobile apps.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ownership mentality and the ability to operate autonomously while maintaining alignment with product goals.
• Humble, optimistic, energetic leadership approach.
• Desirable: Django, React; React Native; Solidity; PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of the web application and blockchain infrastructure.
• Make and own engineering decisions to support the product roadmap and scalability.
• Contribute to platform cryptoeconomic design and reward mechanisms.
• Establish scalable engineering practices and quality standards for growth.
• Help shape technical direction and product vision as a founding member of the team.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering team after product-market fit.
• Cultivate a culture of quality, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to translate ideas into reliable technology.
