Job summary

SwiftMove Logistics is seeking a Formworker Assistant to support our construction projects in Faroe-Islands, assisting with formwork setup, concrete pours, and site cleanup.

The role offers hands-on training, opportunities to learn from experienced Formworkers, and a chance to contribute to timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required.
• Must have physical strength and endurance for lifting and standing.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills from experienced professionals.
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Formworker with preparation and setup of formwork for concrete pours.
• Help pour and finish concrete according to specifications.
• Assist with general site cleanup including debris removal and tool cleaning.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Learn on-the-job skills and techniques from experienced Formworkers.
• Adhere to project deadlines and complete tasks promptly.

Job description

As a Formworker Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Formworker in construction and maintenance projects in Faroe-Islands Your main duties will include preparing and setting up formwork pouring and finishing concrete and assisting with general site cleanup This is an ideal role for students looking to gain experience in the construction industry

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required
• Must have physical strength and endurance to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
• Basic knowledge of construction tools equipment and safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills from experienced professionals

Salary The salary for this position is 1200$ per month
