Job summary

Formworker

As a Formworker in Esbjerg, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling temporary structures used to support concrete during construction. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, erecting formwork according to specifications, and reinforcing forms with wire mesh or rebar.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of construction methods and safety procedures. You must also be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study blueprints or drawings to determine formwork requirements
• Measure and cut materials to required specifications
• Assemble and erect formwork using hand tools and power tools
• Reinforce forms with wire mesh or rebar as needed
• Inspect completed forms for defects or imperfections
• Remove formwork after concrete has set and clean up job site
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
• Familiarity with construction methods, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and use hand/power tools effectively
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary:

Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position with typical working hours from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
