Job summary

Flatpay is seeking a Student Assistant in the Group Strategy team in Herlev, Denmark. You will work directly with leadership, own parts of analyses, and help shape decisions on growth across markets.

This role suits a quantitative student who is curious, eager to learn, and ready to contribute from week one. You will build analyses, prepare senior leadership input, and turn numbers into clear recommendations while balancing exams with a 15–20 hour work week.

Qualifications

• You are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field and have at least 1.5 years left.
• You are strong with numbers and can work with large datasets.
• You can break a broad question into parts and explain your conclusions clearly in writing and verbally.
• You take ownership and follow tasks through.
• You communicate confidently in English (Danish is a plus).

What You Will Do

The Group Strategy team works directly with the CEO, our country Managing Directors, and the broader Flatpay organization. We work on the questions that shape how Flatpay grows: Where we are winning, where we can improve, and what we should do next.

As a Student Assistant in the Group Strategy team, you will be part of the work from your first week. You will own parts of analyses, see how your work feeds into leadership decisions, and get close sparring from colleagues with consulting and strategy backgrounds.

Your Main Tasks Will Include

Who You Are

• You are studying a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, business, finance, engineering or another quantitative field, and have at least 1.5 years of studies left
• You are strong with numbers, you can work with large datasets, and you check your own work before you hand it over
• You can break a broad question into its parts and explain your conclusion clearly in writing and verbally
• You take ownership and follow tasks through
• You communicate confidently in English (Danish is a plus)
• Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus, but not a requirement

You do not need to know everything from day one. We only ask that you are curious and eager to learn and have fun while doing it.
