Job summary

GEA Westfalia Separator DK in Skanderborg seeks a Financial Controller to strengthen the finance team with accurate reporting, financial analysis, and process improvements.

You will handle monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, budgeting, and month-end close while working with SAP S/4HANA. Danish and English proficiency are required, and 1–3 years in controlling is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
• 1–3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit or finance.
• Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience with SAP or Business Central is an advantage.
• Full Danish and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and KPI performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Execute month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
• Manage VAT reporting, intercompany transactions, and compliance-related finance processes.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and collection activities while supporting invoicing processes.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting tools, and transition to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and KPI performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Execute month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
• Manage VAT reporting, intercompany transactions, and compliance-related finance processes.

• Support audits, ad hoc analyses, and business partnering across the organization.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
• 1-3 years of experience within controlling, accounting, audit, or finance.
• Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Business Central is an advantage.
• Full Danish and English proficiency.
