Job summary

Alstom in Copenhagen, Denmark is seeking a Finance Project Manager to lead the financial strategy for complex projects, collaborating with Project Management, Legal and Operational Excellence. You’ll optimize cash flow, manage risk, ensure IFRS compliance and provide actionable insights to improve contract margins and cash profiles while coaching junior finance staff.

The role requires strong Danish and English communication and a passion for driving financial performance in a global transport

Qualifications

• Experience with financial project management, including cash flow optimization, risk mitigation, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the overall Project Management process jointly with the Project Manager.
• Act as the main partner for the financial strategy success of the project, optimizing financial aspects like organization, tax, hedging, and financing.
• Provide finance advice and coaching to the project team while integrating within the organization.
