Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Energy Transition Finance team to support the financial decisions shaping sustainable shipping. This role provides financial insights and decision support across green fuel activities and requires building partnerships with stakeholders across commercial, trading, origination, operational, and finance teams.

This on-site role involves performance management, financial modelling, and due diligence for fuel supply agreements, with opportunities

Qualifications

Finance partnering or similar analytical role.
Strong financial modelling and analytics.
Experience with data tools like Excel and Power BI.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and influence stakeholders.
Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused mindset.
Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-changing environments.
Experience in energy markets, fuels, decarbonisation or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Driving performance management, reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
Conducting financial, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to support business decisions.
Supporting financial due diligence for fuel supply agreements and new products.
Helping stakeholders understand the financial implications of evolving fuel markets and regulations.
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and automation.
Building strong partnerships across Energy Transition, Energy Markets, and Finance teams.
Supporting the development of sustainable financial processes for emerging fuels and regulatory requirements.
