  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences.
  • Professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial planning processes including Anchor Budget (AB) and Rolling Estimates (RE).
  • Partner with managers to provide financial insights, performance tracking, and decision support.
  • Prepare analyses, management reports, presentations, and leadership recommendations.

Your New Role

As a Finance Controller, you will be a trusted finance partner to managers and stakeholders across the organisation, helping to ensure financial transparency, strong planning processes, and fact-based decision-making. You will be responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management activities while contributing to continuous improvements across the finance function.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving financial planning processes, including Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE), and ongoing forecasting activities.
  • Partnering with managers and Finance Partners to provide financial insights, performance tracking, and decision support.
  • Preparing financial analyses, management reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership discussions.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities and ensuring high-quality financial reporting and control processes.
  • Participating in or leading cross-functional projects that strengthen financial excellence and operational performance.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, translating complex financial information into meaningful business insights. Success will require strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder landscape.

Your New Department

You will join the Finance & Procurement team within Site DPM Hillerød, a team responsible for driving and developing the local Finance agenda in close collaboration with site leadership and business stakeholders.

The team focuses on creating value through standardised processes, best practice sharing, and efficient operations. As part of a high-performing team of dedicated professionals, you will work alongside colleagues with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise. The culture is characterised by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Located within Business Support, the team plays a key role in maintaining and continuously improving financial processes while supporting the site's operational and strategic priorities. You can expect an environment where initiative, curiosity, and teamwork are valued and encouraged.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience within controlling, financial planning, business partnering, or management reporting.
  • Experience working with financial data, analyses, and reporting tools, ideally including ERP systems such as SAP and solutions such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences.
  • Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

Salary:

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK499,600 to DKK734,400, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits:

The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
