Job summary

Solvexis Consult is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator / AMK-B for a large and complex project in Denmark, based in the Fredericia area. The role demands a senior safety professional with practical, in‑field coordination across multiple workstreams and interfaces.

You will work closely with project management, contractors, and EHS teams to ensure safe execution, timely safety actions, and effective risk control on site. Danish and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Danish construction safety requirements
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors on large projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in Danish and English
• Willingness to be in the field and engage directly with project teams

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling AMK-B responsibilities per Danish requirements
• Coordinate health and safety activities between contractors and workstreams
• Plan and facilitate safety meetings, safety walks and follow-ups
• Maintain and update the Plan for Safety and Health (PSS) and coordination docs
• Maintain a strong visible EHS presence on site
• Conduct inspections and follow up on observations and corrective actions
• Coordinate common safety arrangements and interfaces between contractors
• Identify risks from overlapping construction, commissioning, maintenance and operations
• Support safe planning and execution of high-risk activities
• Coordinate areas like work at height, scaffolding, electrical work, LOTO, excavation, lifting, chemical handling
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and follow-up
• Work with client EHS, construction management, project leadership and contractor HSE teams
• Engage with Danish Working Environment Authority when required
