Job summary

Solvexis Consult in Denmark is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator / AMK-B for a large, complex project in the Fredericia area. The role requires a senior safety professional who understands Danish construction safety requirements and can actively coordinate EHS across multiple workstreams in the field.

Qualifications

• AMK-B qualification is required for coordination on large construction projects.
• Strong practical experience from construction, infrastructure or complex industrial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Danish occupational health and safety legislation.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors and managing complex work interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling AMK-B responsibilities in accordance with Danish requirements.
• Coordinating health and safety activities between contractors and workstreams.
• Planning and facilitating safety meetings, safety walks and contractor follow-up.
• Maintaining and updating the Plan for Safety and Health (PSS) and related coordination documentation.
• Maintaining a strong and visible EHS presence across the construction site.
• Conducting inspections and following up on observations, deviations and corrective actions.
• Coordinating common safety arrangements and interfaces between contractors.
• Identifying risks from overlapping construction, commissioning, maintenance and operations.
• Supporting safe planning and execution of high-risk activities.
• Coordinating activities involving work at height, scaffolding, electrical work, LOTO, excavation, lifting operations and chemical handling.
• Supporting incident and near-miss investigations and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
• Working with contractors to improve safety performance and close identified actions.
• Supporting communication of project EHS standards, safety initiatives and lessons learned.
• Collaborating with client EHS, construction management and contractor HSE teams.
