ForceShield, Greenland-based construction company, is seeking an experienced Facade Engineer to design, construct, and maintain building facades that are safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The role involves site visits, collaboration with architects, creating drawings and specifications, selecting materials, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Travel to sites is required; visa arrangements are welcomed for candidates worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Facade Engineer in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of facade design principles, materials and construction techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for site visits as needed.

We are a leading construction company in Greenland and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team As a Facade Engineer you will be responsible for designing constructing and maintaining building facades to ensure they are safe functional and aesthetically pleasing

Responsibilities

• Conducting site visits to assess the condition of existing facades and identifying any potential issues or areas for improvement
• Collaborating with architects and other professionals to design new facade systems that meet structural and aesthetic requirements
• Preparing detailed drawings calculations and specifications for facade construction projects
• Selecting appropriate materials and finishes for facades based on climate conditions durability and cost-effectiveness
• Ensuring compliance with building codes safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process
• Overseeing installation of facade systems by contractors and conducting regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship
