Job summary

GulfSea Services seeks a Senior Architect to join on a part-time basis in Greenland. You will oversee design and construction of projects, guiding junior architects and ensuring on-budget, on-schedule delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture with 5+ years' experience (2+ in a leadership role), proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp, and strong communication. Visa sponsorship is offered for non-Greenlandic candidates.

Job description

We are in search of a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Greenland As the Senior Architect you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects providing leadership and guidance to junior architects and ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for various projects including creating conceptual designs developing detailed plans and overseeing construction
• Provide mentorship and support to junior architects helping them develop their skills and grow within the company
• Collaborate with clients contractors engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architecture technology
• Ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of architecture principles design techniques building materials and construction methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SketchUp or other relevant software
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
