Job summary

Dalux is looking for a Product Designer to join our Copenhagen team. You will turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences for construction professionals, collaborating across product, design, and engineering from discovery to delivery.

You’ll contribute to an expanding design system, apply user research insights, and craft flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces in a global SaaS environment. English required, Danish/German/French/Spanish/Italian helpful.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing complex software products, preferably SaaS.
• Experience with user research and end-to-end product design.
• Confident collaboration with Product Managers and developers in cross-functional teams.

Join Dalux and design products that transform the construction industry

As a Product Designer at Dalux, you'll join a team of 12 designers creating intuitive solutions for one of the world's largest, and least digitalised industries.

You’ll be part of cross-functional product teams, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. Through user research, prototyping, and iterative design, you’ll turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences used by construction professionals around the world.

Over the past two years, we’ve invested significantly in growing our design practice. We’ve built a strong design community, but we’re still evolving. This means you’ll have the opportunity to influence not only the products we build, but also how design is embedded across our organisation.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with Product Managers and developers to discover opportunities and shape product direction
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and validate ideas
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished user interfaces using Figma and AI tools throughout the design process
• Use Dalux’s design system to create consistent experiences across our products and contribute to its continued evolution
• Work closely with developers to bring your designs to life and continuously improve the user experience

Your Background

We’re looking for someone who enjoys turning complex problems into simple, intuitive user experiences. Ideally, you have:

• At least 3 years of experience designing complex software products, preferably within SaaS
• A relevant university degree (Bachelor's or Master’s level)
• Experience with user research and end-to-end product design
• Confidence collaborating closely with Product Managers and developers in cross-functional teams
• A curious, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly understand technical systems, industry‑specific workflows, and new technologies such as AI
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Danish, German, French, Spanish, or Italian
