Job description

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or materials on construction sites. You will work closely with the site supervisor and follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and moving materials.
• Follow blueprints and instructions from the site supervisor to ensure accurate excavation.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment after use.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Complete daily logs of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating excavators or other heavy equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Valid work permit for Denmark (valid visa) is required.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills in English; Danish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
