Job summary

Veolia Remediation Europa, part of Veolia Hazardous Waste Europe, seeks a Project Engineer based in Søborg, Denmark. Drive projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with experienced Project Managers and a multidisciplinary team, with a clear path to becoming a fully experienced Project Manager.

You will own design activities, subcontractor management, and site safety, maintaining Veolia standards while managing budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in environmental engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in a cross-disciplinary project environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delegated projects (mainly in Europe) and project issues.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and multi-disciplinary team on design, procurement, and execution.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and Veolia standards on site.
• Manage budgets and timelines, monitor progress and reporting.
• Apply established procedures for contract execution.
