Job summary

BaseForce is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to assist senior engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. You will gain hands-on experience across diverse projects and contribute to safety, reliability, and performance standards.

This is a contract position located in Copenhagen with visa assistance and accommodation for non-locals. Responsibilities include assisting in designing systems, conducting data research, performing calculations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or in progress.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical principles, components and systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MATLAB.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Job description

As an entry-level Electrical Engineer in our company you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in the design development and maintenance of electrical systems and components You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects gaining hands‑on experience and developing your skills This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month located in Copenhagen

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing electrical systems and components according to project specifications
• Conduct research and gather data to support engineering decisions
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet safety reliability and performance standards
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions
• Participate in testing and commissioning processes for new systems
• Support maintenance activities for existing systems

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or in progress
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical principles components and systems
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or MATLAB
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Preferred

• Previous internship or co-op experience in an engineering role
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for electrical systems eg NEC
• Knowledge of sustainable energy practices
