ROCKWOOL New Businesses is seeking a New Business Developer to be based at our global headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark, joining the New Businesses team. Qualifications

• Master's degree from a top-tier university or business school.
• Proven track record of building or scaling new businesses within a large corporation, VC, corporate strategy, consulting or startup roles.
• Strong commercial judgment and strategic perspective; ability to define revenue models and build robust business cases.
• Strong ability to engage with R&D and translate opportunities into technical requirements.
• Excellent storytelling and ability to present vision to senior stakeholders and partners.
• Self-starter with ownership mindset and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to build trust and influence across functions and external partners.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with international experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, build, and scale new ventures from exploration to commercial launch.
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional stakeholders to leverage group capabilities.
• Develop winning business models, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
• Develop investment cases and secure internal buy-in and resources.
• Scout and engage external partners—startups, labs, universities and early adopters.
• Work with multiple functions to drive ventures forward with autonomy and support from the team.
• Contribute strategic thinking to scale existing new businesses and align with group strategy.
