Job summary

DLG Group is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define the target architecture and establish governance across Group IT and business units. You will lead modernization efforts, ensure seamless integration, and steer ERP, data, and AI platform initiatives toward a cohesive, future-proof landscape.

The role offers a flexible work location with options to base yourself in Fredericia or Flensburg, collaborating with CIO and executives on strategic technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, solution, or domain architecture within large or complex organisations.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA and applying them pragmatically.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and modern platforms.

About The Position

DLG is on an ambitious digital transformation journey, moving from a fragmented legacy IT landscape toward a landscape built on a business capability-driving architecture. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a central role in defining DLG’s target enterprise architecture and establishing strong architectural practices across the organisation.

You will act as the primary owner and focal point for our enterprise architecture repository and ensure transparency of both the current and future application landscape. In this role you will operate as a trusted advisor across Group IT and the business, driving architectural governance, priorities, and direction.

You will lead simplification, modernization, and interoperability initiatives across our business areas, Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Energy, and Housing, with a strong focus on seamless integration between applications and our enterprise wide data platform.

In This Role You Will

• Define and maintain DLG’s target enterprise architecture and architectural principles, while ensuring alignment with the business strategy
• Drive the modernisation journey from legacy systems towards a composable architecture centered around a strong integration platform
• Ensure strong integration between applications and platforms (including the enterprise wide data platform)
• Define and govern architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps aligned with DLG’s strategic priorities
• Support data-driven architecture initiatives
• Facilitate architecture governance and cross-domain alignment across Group IT and business areas
• Guide ERP, data, integration, platform teams, and AI platforms towards the target architecture

About You

What you bring:

• Significant experience in enterprise, solution, or domain architecture within large or complex organisations
• Solid experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA – and the ability to apply them pragmatically to drive business outcomes
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, modern platforms, and complex IT landscapes
• Experience with ERP (preferably SAP), CRM, and API/event-driven integrations
• Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture management solutions, ideally with LeanIX
• An analytical, structured, and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Excellent communication skills in English (Danish and/or German is an advantage)
