Enterprise Account Executive

We are headhunting for Enterprise Account Executives to join a fast-growing, medium-sized Tech company. The client is looking for candidates with experience in selling to Enterprise companies in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance markets across multiple territories.

Our client is the publisher of a Linux open source operating system that is a leading platform for public cloud compute and a favorite among software engineers, data scientists, and AI developers. Their customers include Global 500 enterprises and startups. Their product range has expanded over the years to include full enterprise solutions in infrastructure and applications, such as software-defined storage, private cloud solutions, container runtime environments, databases, message queues, identity, observability, analytics, machine learning, and web publishing capabilities. Customers value the security, compliance, and support for open source solutions provided by the company, from data centers to the cloud and edge.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company, its solutions, and software in your territory.
  • Build and execute a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting.
  • Develop new pipeline through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events.
  • Close contracts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking targets.
  • Be proactive in achieving tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Work with field engineers to propose solutions that solve customer business problems.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts within Salesforce.
  • Establish professional relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, coming from software companies, system integrators, consulting, or infrastructure firms, with a passion for tech.
  • Detail-oriented with effective follow-up skills.
  • Experience in enterprise software or technology sales planning and execution.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and winning new accounts.
  • Self-disciplined and motivated to succeed in a distributed team.
  • Professional written and spoken English, plus any language relevant to your target market.
  • Ability to travel for customer engagements, industry events, and company functions.
  • 10+ years of sales experience.
  • Longevity in previous roles, with no more than 5 roles in the last 10 years.
