Danfoss in Denmark is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to shape the software behind DEVI thermostats and controllers. You’ll develop and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based products, ensuring reliability and security.
Based on-site in Kolding, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to translate requirements into robust firmware, validate implementations, and support product releases across the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Embedded software development in C or C++ for MCU-based products.
- Hands-on debugging, troubleshooting, source control, and firmware releases.
- Translate requirements into firmware and validate implementations.
- Familiarity with Zigbee, Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Matter or similar tech.
Responsabilités
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based thermostats and controllers.
- Integrate and update communication technologies and third-party components while protecting stability and cybersecurity.
- Review firmware from external partners, turning requirements into release-ready solutions.
- Investigate and resolve firmware issues across software, electronics, connectivity, and field operations.
- Collaborate with product management, electronics, applications, quality, and verification teams to drive releases.
