Job summary

Stelfox IT Recruitment seeks an Electrical Package Manager to own electrical packages for major Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial projects. You will lead Engineers and Subcontractors, ensure safe, on-time delivery and oversee testing, commissioning and handover.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and 5+ years' experience in electrical construction, with MV/HV exposure and a drive to progress into Project Management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in electrical construction and project delivery.
• Experience on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or Mission Critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ambition to progress into Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical packages from planning through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Lead Engineers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and Vendors.
• Deliver works safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards.
• Coordinate labour, materials, engineering deliverables and site activities.
• Monitor progress, budgets, variations and project risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, punch lists, O&M documentation and final handover.
• Promote Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Ambition to progress into Project Management.

Take ownership of major electrical work packages on large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial projects.
