Job summary

GH Engage is seeking a senior BMS/Controls engineer in Denmark to lead the complete BMS package lifecycle on large-scale projects. You will design, review, install, commission and hand over systems while coordinating multiple disciplines to ensure seamless integration.

You will manage subcontractors, review technical submittals and maintain rigorous QA/QC documentation, with a strong focus on safety and milestone delivery across data centre or mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Automation or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience delivering BMS or Controls on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Siemens, Schneider, Trend, Honeywell or similar.
• Understanding of HVAC controls, electrical systems and networked building tech.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
• Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Delivery of BMS package in line with project programme.
• Completion of installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Successful integrated systems testing and QA/QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full BMS package lifecycle from design review through installation and handover.
• Coordinate BMS subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Review submittals, RFIs and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, contract requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, CSA and Commissioning teams for seamless integration.
• Monitor milestones and drive subcontractor performance to meet deadlines.
• Lead coordination meetings and communicate with project stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support IST, client demonstrations and final handover.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, O&M manuals and training materials.
• Maintain high health and safety standards on site.

• Coordinate BMS subcontractors, vendors and specialist suppliers.
• Review technical submittals, RFIs, method statements and technical drawings.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, contractual requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, CSA and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Monitor programme milestones and drive subcontractor performance to meet project deadlines.
• Lead package coordination meetings and manage communication with key project stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST) and client demonstrations.
• Oversee QA/QC documentation, O&M manuals, system training and final handover requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the project.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience delivering BMS or Controls packages on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience within data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Siemens, Schneider, Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls or similar.
• Understanding of HVAC controls, electrical systems, network architecture and integrated building technologies.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against challenging project deadlines.
• Successful delivery of the BMS package in line with the project programme.
• Completion of installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Successful integrated systems testing.
• Completion of quality documentation and outstanding snagging.
• Successful client sign-off and final package handover.
