Job summary

Sensori Group, a Sisk Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support design, coordination and on-site delivery of electrical systems for our construction projects. You will prepare technical submittals, work with 3D/BIM models, coordinate installations and ensure electrical works meet specifications, schedule, and Sensori’s quality and safety standards.

Minimum 5 years with recognised MEP/electrical contractors on construction projects, and a degree or trade qualification in Electrical

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working with recognised MEP or electrical contractors on construction or installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems, control panels and installation best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage and track electrical technical submittals and approval packages.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, track milestones and report progress against programme targets.
  • Develop and work with 3D models and BIM deliverables to coordinate design and construction information.
  • Contribute to electrical design development, produce drawings and specifications for power distribution, lighting and control systems.
  • Coordinate electrical installation activities with site teams, other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth handover to commissioning.
  • Apply a systems approach that integrates electrical scope with mechanical, civil and control disciplines to produce coordinated solutions.
  • Attend meetings with clients and project stakeholders to capture requirements, present technical information and resolve queries.
  • Ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and the project QA plan; support validation and handover activities.
  • Manage in-progress snagging processes, ensure supervisors issue weekly punch lists and distribute actions to subcontractors.
  • Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours for central tracking; prepare weekly cost and progress reports including orders, materials and labour levels.
  • Produce material take-offs, manage procurement lead times and track deliveries against the programme.
  • Drive BIM priorities modular concepts, fabrication details, isometrics and model validation for construction; control change management.
  • Support and coach junior engineers assigned to the project team to develop technical capability.
  • Support project close-out activities including final accounts, O&M manuals, as-built documentation, QA and safety files.

Sensori is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support design, coordination and on‑site delivery of electrical systems for our projects. You will prepare technical submittals, work with 3D/BIM models, coordinate installations, and ensure electrical works are delivered to specification, on schedule and to Sensori’s quality and safety standards.

  • Other duties — perform additional tasks required to deliver projects successfully.
  • Minimum 5 years working with recognised MEP or electrical contractors on construction or installation projects.
  • Trade qualification or third‑level degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems, control panels and installation best practices.
  • Proficient with CAD and BIM tools and comfortable using project planning software (e.g., Primavera or equivalent) and MS Office.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation and time‑management skills to manage multiple deliverables.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for technical reports, client liaison and team coordination.
  • Working knowledge of QA/QC processes and QHSE requirements for construction sites.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and manage subcontractor interfaces.
  • Experience producing Construction Work Packs and managing material take‑offs.
  • Familiarity with testing, commissioning and handover procedures for live systems.
  • Previous exposure to modular design, prefabrication or data‑centre electrical systems.
  • Demonstrable coaching or mentoring experience.
