Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Manager, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineering to lead the Project Execution team for the PEC business in pulp, energy, and circularity. You will drive EI&C project execution, resource planning, and adherence to standards while collaborating across locations including Denmark and Sweden.

The role requires 5+ years in EI&C, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of EI&C engineering experience, preferably in pulp or energy sectors.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate globally and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and guide teams.
• Proficiency in English and Swedish.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead EI&C project execution and coordinate resources.
• Ensure harmonized ways of working across locations and participate in cross-location initiatives.
• Provide cost estimation, scheduling and quality assurance of engineering activities.
• Mentor and guide the team to meet project goals and drive continuous improvement.
