Project Manager

VersaFile is a Vancouver-based technology services and software company providing intelligent content and process automation solutions. This includes managed services, strategic consulting, implementations, and commercial software. We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives on solving business challenges and delivering elated end-users. In this role, you'll drive seamless project execution, optimize operational processes, and collaborate with our Service Delivery team to ensure high-quality results. Reporting to the Director of Success Office, you’ll take ownership of IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client needs and business objectives.

This is a remote position, but availability during Pacific Time hours is required to support both clients and internal teams effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and track project performance, ensuring objectives are met on time and within scope.
  • Manage resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Ensure accurate time tracking and work with accounting to facilitate proper billing and invoicing.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Champion consistent, effective project management practices.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Service Delivery team.
  • Keep project information accurate and updated in relevant systems.
Skills:
  • Strong business acumen with a market-driven approach and the ability to adapt strategies as needed.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a Service Delivery environment.
Key Attributes and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Actively pursuing PMP certification.
  • Hands-on experience managing IT projects from end to end.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with external clients.
  • Fluent in English and eligible to work in Canada.
Nice to haves:
  • Passion for solving business problems with Automation and AI.
Location:
  • Our office is in Vancouver, but we are open to someone working remotely within Canada.
