Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager, Managed Services based in Denmark to lead a distributed, highly technical team responsible for operating and improving cloud infrastructure. You will oversee managed services for customer environments built on Kubernetes/OpenStack, balancing operational excellence with engineering quality.

The role combines people leadership, technical decision-making, service delivery, and customer collaboration in a fully remote, international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field or comparable professional experience.
• Proven professional experience in software engineering or managing technical operations teams.
• Demonstrated experience with OpenStack.
• Strong testing methodologies and code quality practices.
• Experience with Linux system administration; Ubuntu/Debian a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Proven experience managing distributed or remote teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing engineering team, improving both development velocity and operational quality.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of managed services across customer environments.
• Establish disciplined engineering and operations processes that support scalability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor team health indicators and improve effectiveness, collaboration, and performance.
• Maintain focus on priorities, milestones, deliverables, and customer commitments.
• Represent the team with customers, internal stakeholders, product engineering, and external partners.
• Ensure SLAs are met across deployments worldwide.
• Drive improvements to products, processes, and operational practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to resolve complex issues.
