  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering, industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or process development with formal leadership education.

  • Proven track record leading global teams and engaging stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
  • Experience building operating models, governance and continuous-improvement practices in complex industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the newly established Value Chain Processes department, building people, capabilities and an operating model for cross-functional execution.
  • Create the roadmap to transform a fragmented process landscape into a scalable, standardized, digitally connected ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain process artifacts (MBoMs, SBoMs, Process Plans, Control Plans, Task Lists) supporting value-chain execution.
  • Establish governance and ways of working to deliver high-quality, traceable deliverables aligned with APQP4Wind.
  • Serve as the key integrator across product design, process engineering, documentation and execution.
  • Champion digitalisation, traceability and information reuse across systems and deliverables.
  • Build strategic partnerships across R&D, Transport, Construction, Service, Quality and Value Chain Services to accelerate transformation.

Job description

Join us in developing process design for the Transport, Construction and Service of our wind turbines. This is a unique opportunity to build, improve and transform a newly established global team with a clear purpose: to provide our Value Chain with effective process deliverables to support safe, efficient and right-first-time execution. Working closely across product development, process engineering, documentation and the Value Chain, your team will be central in connecting design to execution and create a positive, measurable impact on execution performance in Transport, Construction and Service.

This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a newly established global team, develop its capabilities and ways of working, and guide a meaningful transformation that creates a positive impact for our internal customers across Transport, Construction and Service. You will shape the transformation of a fragmented and immature landscape of process related deliverables into a standardised, scalable and digitally connected operating model, improving traceability, process quality and operational performance. Supported by an engaged leadership network, you will define and set the roadmap towards the long-term vision, promote a culture of involvement and continuous improvement, and enable safer, more efficient and right-first-time execution across the value chain.

Responsibilities

You will lead the newly established Value Chain Processes department, building the people, capabilities and operating model required to connect critical process deliverables from product design through to field execution. Through effective people leadership, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement, you will help transform a fragmented landscape of process deliverables into a standardised, scalable and digitally connected way of working.

  • Develop and shape a newly established global department, defining its culture, capabilities, operating model and long-term direction, build, engage and develop a diverse global team, creating an environment characterised by trust, involvement, collaboration, inclusion and continuous learning
  • Create the roadmap and guide the transformation of a fragmented and immature process landscape into a scalable, standardized, and digitally connected process ecosystem
  • Create and maintain MBoMs, SBoMs, Process Plans, Control Plans and Task Lists, ensuring they effectively support value-chain execution throughout the lifecycle
  • Establish the capabilities, governance and ways of working required to deliver high-quality, traceable and reusable process deliverables complying to APQP4Wind principles
  • Act as the key integrator across the end-to-end process-design chain, connecting product development, process engineering, documentation and execution
  • Champion digitalisation, traceability and information reuse across systems and deliverables to improve efficiency, quality and scalability
  • Build effective strategic partnerships across R D, Transport, Construction, Service, Quality and Value Chain Services to accelerate the transformation and the enablement of efficient execution in the Value Chain
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Substantial leadership experience from engineering, industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or process development, supported by a leadership education
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, organizational development, or transformation
  • Extensive experience leading global teams and engaging stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
  • Experience leading change while building capabilities with clarity and employee involvement
  • Experience establishing effective operating models, governance and continuous-improvement practices in a complex industrial organisation

Additional Information

Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark with a minimum of 3 days a week in office.

This position requires approximately 15-20 days of travel per year.
