Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a Director of Safety Operations to lead the Safety Operations Centre of Expertise and Submissions from Søborg. You will manage a team of Safety Operations specialists, set strategic direction, and drive sustainable improvements across global pharmacovigilance processes.

With a master’s in life sciences and extensive PV leadership, you will ensure regulatory compliance, optimise case processing and foster collaboration across headquarters, affiliates and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life sciences required.
• Extensive pharmacovigilance experience in a large-scale pharmaceutical company.
• Extensive knowledge of international pharmacovigilance legislation and guidelines.
• Proven success optimising processes and systems in safety operations.
• Strong people leadership, including leading other leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Safety Operations Centre of Expertise and Submissions.
• Drive end-to-end ICSR handling from intake to regulatory submission.
• Improve efficiency, automation and process quality across Safety Operations.
• Ensure reporting systems stay compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong global network across HQ, affiliates and collaborators.
