Job summary

QuantumIT Solutions is seeking a DevOps Developer to design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery and continuous improvement.

Applicants should have a strong Linux background, experience with Ansible/Puppet/Chef, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Proficiency in Python or Java and Git is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated systems for CI, testing, and deployment.
• Work with development and operations teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of software processes.
• Troubleshoot issues related to software delivery processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Implement best practices for monitoring and measuring system performance.
