Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes for both cloud-based and on-premises environments
• Build and maintain monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications
• Troubleshoot issues in production environments, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize software delivery through continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ensure security best practices are implemented in all aspects of infrastructure design
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices
