Job summary

AutoProff is seeking a DevEx Engineer to empower our Taycan squad, split between Vejle HQ and Copenhagen, with the freedom to base in either location. You will work on shared tooling, libraries, and patterns to streamline software development across engineering squads, including Outbox, Sagas, and observability tooling, enabling faster delivery of product value.

Qualifications

• Must have strong C#.NET engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3) and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/Terraform).
• Familiar with microservices, event-driven architectures and patterns like Outbox, Sagas, CDC.
• Hands-on in building shared libraries, observability tooling, and reusable APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve shared libraries, scaffolding templates, and CI/CD tooling to remove friction for product squads.
• Develop messaging patterns, observability, and recovery tooling (Outbox, Sagas, rehydration).
• Help engineers adopt shared standards for tracing, service integration, and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers across squads to identify friction and turn it into DevEx priorities.
• Promote platform practices for ownership, operation, and reuse.
• Support developers in adopting secure, reliable defaults and standardized tracing.
