Job summary

BGC Group’s Scandi FX desk in Copenhagen is seeking a proactive trainee to join our front-office team. You will gain hands-on exposure to trade execution, client communications and market monitoring in a dynamic, market‑leading environment.

We value integrity, strong numerical skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and brokers. Training will be provided to learn our processes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Danish/Swedish speaker
• Experience with voice communications or front-office role is a plus

There is an opportunity at BGC Group on the Scandi FX desk in our Copenhagen office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist brokers in the day-to-day tasks associated with executing trades
• Inputting trades into the internal booking systems.
• Sending information to clients and collating data.
• Liaise with clients via telephone and in person.
• Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.

Regulatory Status

The role holder is expected to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and regulatory awareness at all times.

The individual will operate in full alignment with all relevant regulatory obligations, internal compliance frameworks, and desk‑level procedures. This includes maintaining a strong understanding of applicable rules, adhering to internal policies, and ensuring all activities are conducted in a controlled, transparent, and compliant manner.

Holding a EFPA or CISI certifications are considered advantageous.
