Matas Group is seeking a Data Engineer to join our BI & Analytics team and help build a Databricks-based data platform. You’ll design architectures, pipelines and data models, and migrate legacy datasets toward a scalable, modern solution.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across membership, stores and e-commerce, bringing strong SQL and Python skills, Databricks expertise, and a passion for data-driven decision making. Flexible work options apply.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on Databricks experience and building data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Experience with Azure SQL-based data warehouses and modernising legacy solutions.
• Experience designing data models, data warehouses and data marts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; cross-functional teamwork.
