• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery and migration methods.
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment is preferred.

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regularly backing up data
• Design and implement database solutions to support business needs
• Develop data models and create efficient database structures
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth integration of new systems with existing databases
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates patches and upgrades
• Assist in data migration from legacy systems to new databases
• Document database processes procedures and policies

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficient in SQL language and experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases
• Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques
• Knowledge of data backup recovery and migration methods
• Experience working in a LinuxUnix environment is preferred

Salary

This position offers a competitive salary of $1500 per month.
