Job summary

ABACUS MEDICINE is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Data, Analytics & AI team in Denmark. You will design, develop, and deploy ML models powering business insights and operational efficiency across the organization.

You will collaborate with data analysts, engineers, product managers and stakeholders to translate complex model outputs into actionable recommendations, build scalable MLOps pipelines, and advance our analytics toolbox through cutting-edge ML/AI techniques.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a data science-related field (e.g., computer science, statistics, economics).
• Advanced Python programming skills and data science proficiency.
• Ability to translate complex model results into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Experience with ML/DL techniques and scalable pipelines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced models to solve business problems.
• Analyze tabular datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Design and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines for deployment and monitoring.
• Promote best practices and expand the DS/ML toolbox for performance gains.
• Strengthen technical infrastructure with modern technologies for scalability.
• Evaluate emerging ML/AI methods, including LLMs, to improve model performance.
• Translate model results into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Share expertise through knowledge-sharing and sparring sessions.
• Identify potential data science applications for value creation and roadmap planning.
