Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg is seeking a motivated MSc student to join API P&O as a Data Science student assistant. You will transform HR data into deterministic insights, building visuals and dashboards that support leadership decisions in a global manufacturing setting.

You will work roughly 8 hours per week with hybrid options, applying Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and ETL tools to analyse data and communicate results to stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MSc programme within statistics, computer science, or data science.
• Programming & Analytics: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL
• Business Intelligence & Visualisation: Power BI, Tableau
• Data Preparation & ETL: Alteryx, Power Query
• Collaboration & Version Control: Git
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Cloud & Data Platforms (nice to have): Azure, Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Acquiring, translating, and preparing data from multiple sources for analysis using ETL tools and processes.
• Performing descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive data analysis to extract meaningful features from complex datasets.
• Building clear, concise, and precise data visualisations that communicate insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that track key people metrics and support organisational decisions.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the department to identify data-driven opportunities and solve real-world problems.
• Applying academic knowledge to practical challenges, bridging theory and application in a global manufacturing environment.
